Housekeeping: Unfortunately, recently there have been incidents in the gym and other facilities. If you see anyone misusing equipment or any items, please report it to a monitor or management. Recently someone cut two cords on the TRX equipment, in the gym. When we have to replace items it can become expensive, and eventually these costs effect dues. We ask your cooperation at this time. If you are in the gym and do not know how to use the equipment properly, please see Lonnie Davis. We ask for your cooperation.

Our staff work very hard to please our residents. This is true at every department. Recently the number of residents treating staff poorly (and against the Code of Conduct) has increased. It doesn't matter if staff are in the Welcome Center, Restaurant, Golf Course or any other place in the community, I'd appreciate it if all residents would be so kind as to treat the staff in a kind and patient way. If you have major concerns, please don't take it out on the staff, contact me or the department manager and we'll do our best to address your concerns. When talking with us about issues, it's helpful to keep in mind that we don't like being called names and cursed at either. Many thanks for your consideration.

Interesting tidbit: Are you aware that the finance department will issue over 2,600 checks this fiscal year and that Robin and I will sign all of them. The checks accuracy and supporting documentation is checked no less than 3 times before the check is sent.

Getting to know the GM: I lived in South Korea for two years and learned to read, write and speak Korean. That was many decades ago, but the last time I spoke fluently was when I served as a translator at the Rotary International Convention when it was held in Salt Lake City in 2007.
