Friendly Reminder re: Outside Lights: Please take a look at your outside lights on and around your home at night. All exterior lighting shall comply with the Pima County and Town of Oro Valley Outdoor Lighting Codes. The purpose of these codes is "protection of access to the dark night sky." The codes apply to lights used as flood or spot lamps on the corners of homes, the lights used in Post Lights in front yards, and the lights used in sconces attached to houses and/or courtyard walls.
If your bulbs are aimed too high or are too bright to meet the code requirements, they need to be changed to bulbs of lower wattage, and in the case of floodlight fixtures on homes, the fixtures need to be aimed lower toward the ground. Any unshielded exterior lights need to go dark between 11 PM and sunrise, per County, Town, and SCOV regulations. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

Importance of Emergency Contact Information: Sometimes our concern for privacy will prevent us from sharing contact information. In today's world there are people who try to take advantage of us, and it is understandable that we are reluctant to give out our address, email or telephone information; let alone the information of someone else close to us.
However, that being said, it is sometimes crucial to have emergency contact information on file at our office. Your emergency contact information is kept confidential. Recently, we have had several instances where we need to get immediate help to an individual resident, resolve irrigation leaks at someone's house, etc.
We encourage you to update your information. The Emergency Contact Information Form is available in the Welcome Center or by clicking here. .
