 Projects update:
  • Restaurant: As previously noted, the construction project is complete. With that stated, there continue to be minor tasks that still need to be completed such as artwork and additional painting in the entry. The outside concrete surfacing is complete so the back patio will be open soon if it is not already open by the time you read this report. One other important project underway is that the bar/beverage area will be fully secured. Alcoholic beverages that are stored outside the bar will be kept in a locked room inside locked, metal cages. The entire bar will be locked off from the rest of the restaurant/lounge with a metal folding door during the evening. These measures will best assure that losses due to theft will be minimized.
  • Solar: Again, as previously noted, this project is complete with the exception of some minor pick-up work and installation by TEP of meters at the Restaurant and Activity Center.
  • Painting: Painting of the buildings in the area of the Activity Center/AFC will begin within the next two or three weeks if not before.
Golf Course walkers: Here's a reminder that the golf times on Tuesdays changed so there are now golfers on the course in the morning. Due to this change, walkers/non-golfers must be off the course by 7 AM. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Board invites you: The Board of Directors wants to invite you to each and every Study Session and Board Meeting. Your thoughts and input are important and one of the best ways to be heard is by attending these monthly meetings. In addition to this invitation, the Board would like you to stop by the meetings 15 minutes before the meetings begin so you and the Board Members can have an opportunity for a casual conversation. This pre-meeting period will give you an opportunity to have one-on-one time with Board Members so you can either talk about light social issues or an Association-related issue that may be very important to you. The next Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 25 at 9 AM. in the Welcome Center, Conference Room 3. Please stop by a little early.

Please send checks made out to "ICS" with "Food Bank" on the memo line to David Nelson, 1900 E. Somnolent Way, Oro Valley, AZ 85755. Questions. Call me at 520-825-8641.
