News from The Views Restaurant and Lounge:
  • You can now enjoy any lunch entrée from 11 AM-close.
  • Happy Hour EVERY DAY from 3-5 PM Saturday - Thursday & 4-7 PM on Friday.

News from The Views Golf Club:
  • Overseeding continues. The course and putting and chipping areas are closed. The driving range is open (mats only).
  • The Pro Shop hours are as follows:
    • 9/30 - 10/2      9 AM - 2 PM
    • Oct 3 - 6         Closed
    • Oct 7              9 AM - 2 PM
    • Oct 8 - 9         9 AM - 5 PM
    • Oct 10 Tee times start at 7 AM (cart path only)
  • Annual pass holders October Special:  At The Views Restaurant, receive an order of chips & salsa with the purchase of a beverage after 3 PM. Must show 2016-17 annual pass card. No exceptions. Some restrictions apply.
  • Unlimited golf passes (good thru 6/30/17) as well as monthly passes and 10-punch punch cards are available for purchase at the Administration Office. Click here for prices. No initiation fee AND prorated rates available for first-time pass holders only.
  • Beginner Golf School at The Views Golf Club. The school will cover basic rules, etiquette, short game and the full swing. Dates: Saturday, October 15; Sunday, October 16; Saturday, October 22; Sunday, October 23; Saturday, October 29; and Sunday, October 30. Time: 9:00-10:00 AM (a total of six 1-hour classes). Cost: $120.00 ($210 savings from the normal cost of 6 sessions). Instructors are Kim Griggs & Tim Lochner, PGA. Equipment is available for rent. The new CAC Loan Room web page is available for requests for future needs. Members of SCOV can log in under Member Services and find a link to the CAC Loan Room web page. This service, along with the computerization of the Loan Room, will provide more efficient service to the community for their medical equipment, child-care, and out-of-town visitor needs. Check out the new web page here, or see us at the Loan Room.



Welcome back to everyone who has been gone during the summer. We certainly hope you had a great time and many adventures. Please make sure to stop by the Administration Center to pick up your 2016-2017 stickers for your facility access card. We look forward to saying hello.



The Government Affairs Committee Announces:
  • Arizona State Senate and Representative's Forum, October 1, 2 PM, Auditorium, Activity Center.
  • October 10, Pima County Supervisor's and Sheriff's Forum, 2 PM, Auditorium, Activity Center.
Following some Government Affairs prepared questions, there will be time for written audience questions.



Vistoso Cyclist's SCOV Food Drive: We are so fortunate to live in our lovely and generous community. The 5th Annual Holiday Food Drive begins October 1. Be sure and check out the pink flyer in the October Tipster for details on how you can be a partner in this effort. Tax credits for donations to our Food Drive have doubled from $200/individual & $400/couple to $400 & $800.



Donations Needed: The SCOV Women's Auxiliary is collecting gently used women's accessories (purses, scarves, jewelry, belts, hats, shoes and designer/decorated jackets) for a Fall Luncheon and Accessories Boutique to be held on November 5. DONATION DROP-OFF BOXESwill be at the Desert Oasis and the Aquatic Fitness Center until Oct. 31. No clothes please (other than designer jackets).
