News from The Views Restaurant and Lounge:

  • Overseeding begins Monday, September 19 and reopens Monday, October 10. Please refer to the Views website for Pro Shop and driving range hours during this time.

  • Annual pass holders September Special: For each new annual pass buyer you refer, receive a $50 additional bonus beyond the referral fee when they purchase an annual pass and join a league by October 31. Restaurant project: Due to the various types of concrete finishes, stains and deterioration on much of the concrete outside the restaurant, the concrete will be surfaced with an attractive stain type finish. This project will restrict exterior access directly to the lounge during the week of September 26 and direct access to the restaurant/dining area during the week of October 3. The project will NOT interfere with the overall restaurant operation and The Views Restaurant will be open during the two weeks that this project will take place.
 
Solar project: According to the contractor, the solar firm will be complete with the construction in the Restaurant/Welcome Center area. Work is progressing in the Activity Center area with an estimated completion sometime in October. To some degree, the solar firm needs to rely on TEP in order to complete portions of their work which can alter the project schedule.
 
Core Class: We are happy to announce that we have a new instructor to teach our "core class" at SCOV. The new "core class" instructor is Karen Yee-Lee. The classes have small time changes. The Monday class will start at 5:30pm and the Wednesday class will start at 3 PM. This class has been growing and we are pleased to have it continue. Karen will start to teach these classes on Monday, September 19.
 
Christmas Golf Cart Parade: It's not too early to think about our Holiday Golf Cart Parade. If you are new to SCOV residents decorate their golf carts and we parade throughout the SCOV community. The date of the parade is December 10 and it starts at the mini golf cart parking area at 11:15 AM. There will be cash prizes for first, second and third places. The main point is to just have fun. Put a wreath or anything on your cart and be a part of the parade.
