The Board invites you: The Board of Directors wants to invite you to each and every Study Session and Board Meeting. Your thoughts and input are important and one of the best ways to be heard is by attending these monthly meetings. In addition, to this invitation the Board would like you to stop by the meetings 15 minutes before the meetings begin so you and the Board Members can have an opportunity for a casual conversation. This pre-meeting period will give you an opportunity to have one-on-one time with Board Members so you can either talk about light social issues or an Association related issue that may be very important to you. The next combined Board Meeting and Study Session will be held on Thursday, June 9, 9 AM, Welcome Center, Conference Room 3.

NEWS FROM THE VIEWS GOLF CLUB:
  • New rates start July 1 as do the new annual passes. Purchase your annual pass today in the Administration Center. First time annual pass holder? If you purchase your annual 9 or 18-hole pass during the month of June, you can play the month of June for FREE - that's 13 months for the price of 12. What a deal.
  • Play all summer long until September 19 for one low price. Summer passes available for only $600 ($550 if you own a cart). Purchase your pass today in the Administration Center.
  • Our twilight passes are perfect for the afternoon golfer. Golf after 11 AM from May 1 - Sept 19 or after 2 PM Oct 10 - April 30. $1535 (without cart); $1685 (with cart). Purchase your pass today in the Administration Center.
  • ATTENTION ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS!  During the month of June, receive a $3 hot dog lunch when you show your server your 2015-2016 annual pass. Offer valid Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Projects update:
  • Solar/roofing: These projects continue to move along on schedule. The projection completion in October. The main coordination issue is with solar installation and work on the restaurant. We are trying and should be successful in coordinating all this work so that both projects as they relate to the restaurant area will be complete by late July or early August.
  • Restaurant: The primary issue that we continue to deal with is delivery of the folding glass doors that lead from the lounge to the terrace. We're trying to get expedited delivery. If that occurs, we can get a temporary certificate of occupancy possibly within a couple of weeks. If we can't get the doors as soon as we would like, there is an option of installing temporary walls and a door to get the certificate of occupancy as soon as possible. Another option may be to close the entire restaurant for a short period and serve limited food and beverage out of the Activity Center. Decisions on these options will be made next week at the latest. Regardless of how this matter is approached, the projected completion date is mid to late July, but I wouldn't be surprised if completion didn't come about until August. 
Dogs: Just a quick reminder...please keep dogs on leashes and pick up after them.

Golf cars: Please do not let children drive golf cars. It's dangerous and a violation of the law. Thanks for your cooperation.

Clubs and Committees: Please be reminded that if you have an event taking place and you want a notice in the SCOV report, please send the notice to me and I'll include it in the report. This report may be the first one that does not include any committee or club notices.
