NEWS FROM THE VIEWS RESTAURANT:
Happy Hour this Thursday and Friday from 4-7 PM. Drink and food specials available. Friday's entertainment: Due Vibrato.

The restaurant will be closed at 3 PM on Thursday, May 19 due to a special event. There will not be a happy hour that evening. Please come join us on Friday, May 20 for Happy Hour.

NEWS FROM THE VIEWS GOLF CLUB:
Play all summer long for one low price. Starting May 1, we have summer passes available for only $600 ($550 if you own a cart). Purchase your pass today in the Administration Center.
Aerification of the course has been moved to May 16 & 17. On May 16, Back 9 and putting green will be closed. Play front 9 twice. On May 17, front 9 will be closed. Play back 9 twice

ATTENTION ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS!  In May, you can receive $50 on top of the referral fee if your referral purchases a golf pass and joins a league in May or June.

so we can make sure any mail from us to you during your absence from SCOV is directed to the appropriate location.
  1. Come in directly to the Administration office to complete a form to change your mailing address.
  2. Call 520-917-8065 and advise you need to change your mailing address.
  3. Fill the form out online here.
Diamondbacks Bus Trip, Wednesday June 15: The D-backs will be playing the Dodgers. There will be only one bus. Tickets will be $48 pp. Price includes bus and game tickets with wonderful seating at the ball park. You can go to the concession stands or be served at your seat. Tickets start on sale Tuesday, May 17 at the Welcome Center. Please see Pam or Coco - get your tickets early.
 
Projects update:
  • With a small exception, the solar and roofing projects are coming along well. There was an error on the part of the roofing contractor in that they began re-roofing the AFC roof, which is not included in the contract. Since this was the contractor's error, the contractor will re-assemble the roofing at their cost.
  • The Mountain Vista tennis courts and two of the pickleball courts are being re-surfaced. These projects will be complete within the next few days.
  • Building painting is in process. The Welcome Center has been painted. Next on the agenda is Catalina Vista, then the Desert Oasis. This project will be ongoing for several weeks, if not a couple of months or more.
The past week has brought about a change in the restaurant timeline and a mistake regarding the roofing work. As noted in past reports, the restaurant project was moving along on time. Recently a change was required by code, which resulted in a necessary change to the new folding doorway that will lead from the lounge to the terrace. This alteration will result in a delay due to the time it will take  
to receive the modified door. As a result, the lounge and terrace are expected to be complete late June rather than early June. For those of you who are not here or who have not been in the restaurant area recently, here's a photo of the terrace construction progress.
