Walkers and bike riders: The days are getting shorter and the nights longer. So, if you're out walking or riding a bike early morning or evening, you'll probably be out in the dark. For your own protection, please wear light colored clothes and be very aware of traffic. Also, if you're walking please consider walking on the sidewalk rather than the street. Many people walk in the street thinking it has less impact on your legs. However, studies have clearly shown that there is no different in the impact between walking on asphalt and concrete. So, please be safe rather than sorry and stay on the sidewalks.

Vistoso Cyclist's SCOV Food Bank Drive:  It's time to celebrate again! Our effort to raise $25,000 for the Interfaith Community Services Food Bank exceeded the goal. We received $25,656 in food and monetary donations. You're response along with the generosity of our Club members will provide food for many seniors, families and individuals, especially as we approach the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Great job!
