Becky Masterman, author of two novels set in the Tucson area, will talk about her books on Thursday, May 21, in the Activity Center/Hohokam. There is no charge for this event, however to help plan for attendance you will need to obtain a ticket from the Library. Contact the Library for additional details.

 

Lost and Found: Please be reminded that many items are left in all of our facilities, from car keys to clothing. We ask that you take a look at these items in each of the facilities' lost and found area. After a few weeks in the lost and found, items are removed and sometimes donated.

 

Leaving for the summer? Make sure the administration office has your forwarding mailing address. Fill out the form here or go to the Members Only section of our website and click on Change/Update Your Mailing Address link.

 

NEWS FROM THE CAFÉ:

Friday, May 22, 4 - 7 PM, Happy Hour!  No theme, no holiday, no reason! Why? Why not.  $1 off all liquor, beer and wine. Happy hour menu to include wings, Sonoran hot dog, chili cheese fries, cheese nachos and bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapenos.

**All special dinners will have additional 18% gratuity added to the check, and all menus subject to change

Please note the afternoon menu and beverage service will not be available to the public after 3 PM on the above dates.

 

Heat & Eat:

May 18 - 24:  Beef tamale pie with sour cream and salsa.

May 25 - 31:  Pepperoni chicken with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

NEWS FROM THE VIEWS:

Aerification is scheduled for Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19. On Monday, May 18, the back 9, putting green & chipping area will be closed. Play front 9 twice. On, Tuesday, May 19, the front 9 will be closed. Play back 9 twice.

 

Intermediate golf school starts THIS SATURDAY!! Learn short game (putting, chipping, pitching and bunker shots), full swing, on-course instruction and course management in our intermediate golf school. The classes are designed for anyone who is interested in stepping up their golf game. Classes will be held every Saturday and Sunday, May 16 - 31 from 8 - 9 AM. Cost is $120 for six lessons. Call the pro shop directly at 520-825-3110 to register.

 

Play all summer long for one low price! Purchase a summer pass in the administration office for $550 (w/o car)/$600 (w/ car) and play unlimited rounds between May 1 - Sept. 18. Offer includes unlimited range, 30% off pro shop merchandise (exceptions apply) and 8-day advance tee time.

 

Annual pass holders - The special offer for May is LEAGUE PLAY HOT DOG DAY!  Show your annual pass holder card to your Cafe server on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday and receive a $3 hot dog lunch. Includes hot dog, chips, soda, tea or water.
