Proposed Café and Lounge Project Presentation for Residents, Saturday, April 25, 2PM, Auditorium: The Long Range Planning Committee will present its proposal for creation of a lounge in the area currently occupied by the Pro Shop, which is being relocated.  Why is a lounge being created?   What will it look like?  What is its importance to the community?  How will it be paid for?  This presentation, requested by the Board of Directors, will answer those questions and more.  Committee members will discuss the reasons for and process involved in creating the proposal, and the architect will present his drawings.  Resident questions are invited and can be submitted immediately following the presentation or in advance by emailing Leslie Platt at bplatt38@comcast.net.

Walking On The Views Golf Course:

Walking on The Views Golf Course is allowed during the posted hours, before and after golf hours at your own risk.  The golf course is defined as including the wash areas that are parallel to and border the maintained areas of the course.  Golfers frequently hit golf balls into and out of these areas.  As a precaution walkers should avoid these areas during normal hours of play.

There are some wash areas that are near the golf course but not adjacent to the maintained area, which can be used for walking during the day. However, caution should always be used when walking in these wash areas as there is a chance of stray golf balls entering these wash areas and of course you should be aware of wildlife.

Remember, if walking a dog on the golf course the dog should be restricted to the golf car paths and be on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

The Views is promoting "Twilight" play. Golfers are more likely to be on the course later in the day as a result. When walking, remember to walk in the direction of play and yield to golfers. This is safer for you and less disruptive to the golfers. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Board invites you:The Board of Directors wants to invite you to each and every Study Session and Board Meeting. Your thoughts and input are important and one of the best ways to be heard is by attending these monthly meetings. In addition, to this invitation the Board would like you to stop by the meetings 15 minutes before the meetings begin so you and the Board Members can have an opportunity for a casual conversation. This pre-meeting period will give you an opportunity to have one-on-one time with Board Members so you can either talk about light social issues or an Association related issue that may be very important to you. The Board Meeting will be held Tuesday, April 28, 9 a.m. in the Welcome Center, Conference Room 3. Please stop by a little early.

Important Reminder Concerning Utility Box Painting: The painting of utility boxes in private yards continues. In the next few weeks, utility boxes in Unit #17 will be painted the Weathered Brown color at no charge to the individual homeowner.  If necessary, please cut back or trim shrubs around the utility boxes in your yard to make it easier for the painter and/or utility companies to gain access to the boxes.   Thank you.
