House Paint Colors: The new proposed house paint color palette is available for view in the Activity Center. The Board of Directors will consider approving the palette at the March 24th Board of Directors Meeting. Please note that there will be no requirement to paint a home due to the implementation of the new colors. Your home will only have to be painted when the Neighborhood Pride Committee, Architectural Review Committee or you as the owner determine that your home needs painting.

Friday, March 13, 4 - 7 PM, Friday the 13th Happy Hour - Part II. Featuring diablo or teriyaki wings, bacon and cheddar potato skins, pepperoni and pineapple mini-calzone, black bean hummus with pita points. Specialty drink - Midnight Moon cocktail $6. $1 off all liquor, beer and wine.

Saturday, March 14, 11 AM - close - Come celebrate International PI Day at The Café. Enjoy a slice of pie plus beverage (hot/iced tea, coffee or soda) for only $3.14. Please mention this special when ordering.

Tuesday, March 17, 4 - 7 PM, $16/person. St. Patrick's Day Buffet. Featuring steak and Guinness pie, Dublin coddle (sausage, onion and potato stew), corned beef and cabbage, Irish colcannon (winter vegetable casserole), red potatoes, soda bread and Guinness cake.

Friday, March 27, 4 - 7 PM, Tapas & Spanish Wines. Featuring ham croquetas, Andalucian tomato & garlic dip with grilled bread, bacon-wrapped chorizo dates, polenta with romesco sauce, pincho ribs with sherry glaze, chorizo-stuffed mushrooms and an assortment of Spanish wines.
 
**All special dinners will have additional 18% gratuity added to the check, and all menus subject to change

HIT & GIGGLE TOURNAMENT -Sunday, March 15, 12:30 PM shotgun. Everyone Welcome! No handicap needed! Golfers of all skill levels invited. Sign up as a single or couple. Cost:  $27/person ($7 annual pass holders) and includes appetizers and cash bar with drink specials after golf in The Cafe. Sign up in the Pro Shop or call 825-3110.

The Sun City Gift Shop is always welcoming new consignors and volunteers. Many people don't realized we have several volunteers in the shop.  Next week on Thursday, March 19 from 1 to 2 the Gift Shop be will registering residents for the October Arts & Crafts Festival.  There will be a Gift Shop representative there to answer any questions you may have about becoming a consignor or volunteer. Stop on by.

Monitor Needed to work at the Desert Oasis and Welcome Center. One of the Welcome Center duties, from time to time, is using the copier to make large quantities of copies on Saturday mornings. Starting pay is minimum wage, $8.05 an hour, work schedule changes monthly. If interested please call Pam Sarpalius at 917-8077 and make an appointment to pick up a copy of the monitors duties.

Recall Petitions: The petitions for recall of the Oro Valley Mayor and Councilmembers Hornat, Snider and Waters will be available for signing in the Activity Center Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until further notice according to information that we have been given. As noted in previous announcements, the Association must allow these petitions to be circulated in the common area and announcements of when and where they are available are for the convenience of those who choose to sign the petitions. The Board of Directors is not taking a position pro or con on the recall efforts. You must be a registered voter in Arizona to sign.

Courtyard Sale Reminder: If you want to participate in the Courtyard Sale on Saturday, March 28th, you need to purchase a table. The tables will go on sale at the Activity Center Lobby on the following dates: Monday March16 from 9 am until 11 am and Tuesday, March 17 from 1 pm until 3 pm. If can't purchase a table at that time please find someone to purchase it for you. You may buy more than one table, the fee per table is $25. See the Tipster for more details.

Vistoso Cyclists and Wheels For Kids: Monday, March 16 between the hours of 8-9 am at the Mountain View Plaza (Sun City Blvd & Rancho Vistoso) the Vistoso Cyclists and Wheels For Kids will be viewing the 2015 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang and raffle tickets will be available for sale. Jim Click's Millions for Tucson is offering this very special car (only 1964 made this year, only 1700 available in the US) for nonprofits organizations for fundraising. Wheels for Kids is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and focuses on providing bikes for youths in need since 2007. Over 1400 distributed to children, teens and adults to date. Wheels for Kids is a Sun City Oro Valley homegrown nonprofit organization which is run entirely by volunteers,100% of proceeds benefit Wheels for Kids and the children they serve.
