Renting your home:

It is imperative that you read the following regarding our procedures to issue renter cards:

  1. Your membership cards are non-transferable and may only be used by you. You may not give your renters your cards.
  2. Before any renter(s) cards are issued, we MUST have your membership cards on file in the office AND your HOA dues must be up to date.
  3. There is a new form that must be completed by you and returned by your renter(s) when they come in to receive their renter's cards. Please find this form here or on the website (www.scovaz.com): go to Association, Governing Documents and click on Renter/Delegated Form.
  4. The issuance fee for a renter card is $25 that is good for the length of the lease.
  5. Please be advised the front office will not keep on file any future rental agreements. It is the responsibility of the renter to submit all paperwork upon arrival to SCOV.

Please contact the administration office with any questions - 520-825-3711.

Sun City Oro Valley Legend Retires:

Yes, it is true.  After 28 years serving our community Norma Meyers is planning on retiring the end of January. She started with Del Webb in 1986 even before Rancho Vistoso Blvd. existed.  Norma has helped literally thousands of residents answering questions, issuing our community cards, selling tickets to events, and making everyone's day with a friendly greeting, dry wit and trying to convince people there is the outline of an" Indian in a canoe" on top of the Catalina Mountains.

Won't you join us on January 20th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in Activity Center Auditorium as we honor Norma for her years of service and celebrate her pending retirement?

Be thinking of "Norma Memories" that you can share as you wish Norma good luck in her retirement.  Special note cards will be provided for you to write your memories down. We will be binding these together as a keep sake for Norma.

Pickleball clinic this weekend on Desert Oasis (DO) tennis courts: The weather has not cooperated, so the new pickleball courts are not yet complete. Since no other facilities are available, this will result in a very temporary use of the Desert Oasis tennis courts this weekend for a pickleball clinic that has been planned for months. The clinics will take place this coming Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. I apologize in advance for any disturbance the noise from the pickleball play may cause and ask for your tolerance during the short period of time that the DO courts will be used for this clinic.
