AFC locker rooms:

Although the comments, complaints and suggestions about slippage in the locker rooms have lessened since the AFC renovation was completed, input is still received from time-to-time. Every suggestion that has been presented has been discussed and considered. Although some measures that have been suggested may help with the slippage, there are usually drawbacks to the suggestions. For example, one suggestion that is made often is to put rubber mats on the floor. The problem with this thought is that mats would have to be placed nearly everywhere to be effective, which would create maintenance, sanitary and aesthetic issues. The best way to minimize the possibility of slipping in the locker rooms is to keep the floors as dry as possible and the best way to do that is to dry off before entering the locker rooms from the pool/spa and showers. If everyone will make this effort, plus pitch in on occasion and mop up water that you may see, there will be little chance of slipping. No tile is completely slip proof but the slip resistant tile that was installed in the locker rooms is a nice, safe surface when kept reasonably dry. Thanks in advance for your cooperation with this safety measure.
