Questions, comments, etc. regarding This Week's SCOV Report: If you have a question, comment or other response that you would like to make regarding an item in this report, you may reply to this message. Depending on the nature of your response (comment, question, etc.), I will acknowledge your reply, answer your questions or take other appropriate action(s) in as timely a manner as possible.

Pickleball/Bocce ball: The pickleball surfacing is scheduled to begin on December 9th. Assuming all goes well, the courts will be ready for play a few days after this last step in the pickleball court construction. Curbs for the bocce ball courts are scheduled to be poured next week. Also the cart path by the pickleball courts is supposed to be poured and opened a short time after that.

Home Tour: The Friends of the Library is sponsoring the biannual SCOV Home Tour on Saturday, February 21, and are actively seeking homes that have had significant renovation in the past two years. The homeowners need to be willing to open their homes Sun City residents on the day of the tour. If interested, please pick up an application in the Library.  If you have any questions, please call Marge Allen or Carol Guibert.

Diane Madaras to visit SCOV: Renowned artist and author Diana Madaras will be appearing at the SCOV Auditorium on Friday, November 21, at 1:00 PM. Admission is free, but tickets are required in order to predict attendance. Tickets are available in the Library.

Sun City Gift Shop presents Holiday Open House: Fri., Nov. 28 and Sat. Nov. 29 from 9 AM-4 PM and Sun. Nov. 30 from 1-3 PM. The shop will be filled with the holiday spirit, gift ideas and fresh baked cookies for you to enjoy.  There will be a raffle with two outstanding prizes.

Golf Punch Cards: Since it's new this year, I want to remind any of you who are thinking about purchasing a ten punch card that the punch cards no longer expire! Buy one now and don't worry about it, if you don't use all your punches this season because you can finish using the punch card next season or the season after.

Buy Now....Play Later Golf punch cards are now available for purchase in the Welcome Center. Cost for an 18-Hole, 10-punch card is $500 and 9-Hole, 10-punch card is $300 - includes the cart! (That's a savings of $190/$150 respectively off 10 rounds.) These punch cards are transferable AND do not expire*. Cash or check accepted. Other restrictions may apply.
