Questions, comments, etc. regarding This Week's SCOV Report: If you have a question, comment or other response that you would like to make regarding an item in this report, you may reply to this message. Depending on the nature of your response (comment, question, etc.), I will acknowledge your reply, answer your questions or take other appropriate action(s) in as timely a manner as possible.

Parking lot closure: Due to construction of the pickleball and bocce ball courts, the north section of the Activity Center parking lot and the parking lot between the tennis courts and Café will be closed Monday, November 17th.

Pro Shop Presentation: The presentation on Saturday, November 8th by the LRPC Pro Shop Task Force was very professionally done, informative and very well attended with about 300 residents in attendance.

Pickleball/Bocce ball: Fencing and lights have been installed for the pickleball courts. In about two more weeks, the concrete will be cured and the surface will be scheduled for application. So, I expect the courts to be complete by mid-December. The bocce ball court concrete will be poured on Monday, November 17th. This concrete also has to cure for 30 days. So, as long as the contractor can get the carpet scheduled for installation shortly after the concrete cures, the bocce ball courts should also be completed prior to years end.

Desert Oasis Pool Closure: The Desert Oasis pool will be closed Monday, November 17th through Wednesday, November 19th to re-surface the pool deck. Our apology for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Diane Madaras to visit SCOV: Renowned artist and author Diana Madaras will be appearing at the SCOV Auditorium on Friday, November 21, at 1:00 PM. Admission is free, but tickets are required in order to predict attendance. Tickets are available in the Library.

The homeowners need to be willing to open their homes to SCOV residents on the day of the tour. If interested, please pick up an application in the Library. If you have any questions, please call Marge Allen or Carol Guibert.

Please pick up your dog's dropping...it's a civil infraction to not remove droppings: (Oro Valley 18.3.4) for the owner or person having custody of any dog to fail to immediately remove and dispose of, in a sanitary manner, any solid waste deposited by such dog on public property. Please be a good citizen and pet parent by cleaning up after your dog.
