Proposed Pro Shop: LRPC Ad Hoc Pro Shop Task Team members remind all residents of the upcoming presentation of its proposal for a newly relocated and more efficient Pro Shop. This is one of two proposals requested by your Board of Directors. The other proposal, to be made in the coming months, will concern the creation of a lounge in the space currently occupied by the Pro Shop. Capital funds are available for these projects, with no assessment to homeowners. Both projects have the potential to contribute to the financial well-being of the Association. The Pro Shop proposal will take place on Saturday, November 8, at 2:00 P.M. in the Auditorium. It will be followed by a no host Happy Hour in the Café at 4:00.   This presentation is being made to residents before presentation to the Board, so that all may have an opportunity to have their questions answered and their input considered.

AFC, Just a reminder: Residents and Guests must sign in at the monitor desk of the AFC when a resident is bringing a guest to the AFC building or pool.

Pickleball/Bocce Ball projects: There was a concern about the new Bocce Ball courts impeding on the miniature golf. In answer to that concern, the new Bocce ball courts will not impact the miniature golf course or any of the picnic area outside of what was the grass area. Both projects are coming along although a little slower than anticipated due to difficulties removing concrete in both areas. The projection at this point is to pour the concrete for the new pickleball courts next week and the new Bocce Ball courts the week after next.

Gas leaks: It was recently brought to my attention that a few residents have experienced gas leaks. In most if not all of these cases, the leak was caused by old gaskets at the gas meters. To help prevent a leak that could turn into a much bigger problem, stop by your gas meter on the outside of your home on occasion. If you smell gas, call Southwest Gas to have your meter checked for a leaky gasket or some other possible problem.

BOARD CANDIDATE NOMINATIONS SOUGHT: Nominations are being sought for the SCOV Board of Directors. If you are interested in serving on the Board or have someone you would like to nominate, complete a form Click Here

Sidewalks: Here's a quick reminder that sidewalks are made for walking and should not be blocked. There are no Rules regarding this matter; however, as a common courtesy to your neighbors, you have asked to keep the sidewalks cleared for walking at all times.

Tipster Writers' Classes: If you are a Tipster submitter and write an article for your club or committee you must attend at least one Tipster Article Writers' Class. We cover the Tipster article standards and how and when to submit. We will hold Tipster Article Writers' Classes:
