Want to be a part of how SCOV operates in the future: An extremely important task has been assigned to the Governing Documents Review Committee by the Board. The Committee has completed a good portion of its work but there is more document review to complete and recommendation for changes to the documents to be presented to the Board and Membership. If you'd like to be a part of this very important process and join the committee, please submit your application by clicking here .

Do you rent out your home? Please be advised of the following:

1.   Your membership cards are non-transferable and may only be used by you.

2.   Before any renter(s) cards are issued, we MUST have your membership cards on file AND your HOA dues must be up to date.

3.   There is a new form that must be completed by you and returned by your renter(s) when they come in to receive their renter's cards. Please find this form on the website here  or go to Association, Governing Documents and click on Renter/Delegated Form. The HOA does not require to see the lease; however, it is requested that the lease is brought into the Administration office so that accurate information will be provided to the Association.

4.   In order to strictly comply with new State law, there is now a $25 fee for process renters' information which includes issuance of activity cards for each tenancy.

5.   Please be advised the front office will not keep on file any future rental agreements. It is the responsibility of the renter to submit all paperwork upon arrival to SCOV.

Please do contact the administration office with any questions - 520-825-3711.

Important Reminders from Neighborhood Pride Committee:

  1. The painting of utility boxes in private yards continues. In the next few weeks, the remainder of boxes in Unit #12 will be painted the Weathered Brown color at no charge to the individual homeowner. If necessary, please cut back or trim shrubs around the utility boxes in your yard to make it easier for the painter and/or utility companies to gain access to the boxes.
  2. When you return from being away for the summer, please don't forget to let Administration know, so they can update their records about where to reach you in case of an emergency. If you have changed your e-mail address, it is also important to notify the office of the change for the same reason   E-mail is one of the quickest ways to notify homeowners of emergency situations.

Swimming pool cover: Around this time of the year staff begins monitoring the weather to determine when it will be the best time to cover the pool. If it's covered too soon when the weather is warm, the water becomes too warm and it becomes difficult to properly maintain the chemical balance in the water. If it's covered too late after the weather cools down, the water gets too cool and becomes uncomfortable. The way the temperatures are trending now, it appears that staff will begin covering the pools the week of October 27th. This is our best estimate as of now and as noted above, the weather will dictate when the pool covering will begin.

Help wanted:Looking for something to do and get paid for it?  Please call Pam Sarpalius at 917-8077 if you are interested in being a part time monitor at the Aquatic and Fitness Center and the Catalina Vista.
