The Board invites you:The Board of Directors wants to invite you to each and every Study Session and Board Meeting. Your thoughts and input are important and one of the best ways to be heard is by attending these monthly meetings. In addition, to this invitation the Board would like you to stop by the meetings 15 minutes before the meetings begin so you and the Board Members can have an opportunity for a casual conversation. This pre-meeting period will give you an opportunity to have one-on-one time with Board Members so you can either talk about light social issues or an Association related issue that may be very important to you. The February Board Meeting will be held on February 25th at 9 a.m. in the Welcome Center, Conference Room 3 so please stop by a little early.

Happy Hours: Don't forget to drop by the Café tomorrow, Friday, February 21st for a fun time with your friends and neighbors. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be discounted drinks and appetizers and lots of good times.

Saguaro Disposal:According to information that I have been given, Saguaro Disposal is offering the following to Sun City residents: Trash one time a week pick up and recycle one time a week- 35.53 Two times a week trash and one time a week recycle 44.80. Scam letter:It's been reported to me that letters have been received by residents that look like they may be coming from TEP. The letters indicates that homeowners are responsible for their interior electrical systems and offer protective coverage for $4.99 per month. The company that is offering this coverage goes by the name of Home Serve. Before considering this coverage, look into the legitimacy of this firm and offer.

UPS Scam:Phone calls are being received by residents from an organization claiming to be UPS. The caller from 876-357-4073 typically advises the resident that a package will be delivered at a certain time and want to know if the resident will be home at that time. The likely goals of these calls is to find out when the resident will not be home. Please be aware of this scam.

Landscape Maintenance Volunteers: Would you like to spend a few hours each week or possible each month helping out with light landscape maintenance in the common area? If so, please email me at bmariani@suncityorovalley.com When/if some volunteers come forward, I will pass your contact information on to Mary Cunningham, Common Area Maintenance Superintendent so that she can organize the volunteers.
