SMC LEJ Electric Slider
The LEJ series is SMC's newest slider style.  The design goals included higher load carrying capability, greater moment loading, and high acceleration and deceleration.  To achieve higher load capability, the chassis includes a double axis linear guide.  Further, the work mounting table's wide stance enhances stability.  Additional stability is established by the low table height and its inherently low center of gravity.  Each model is driven by an AC servo motor capable of 20,000 mm/s2 acceleration or deceleration.   

The
LEJ series includes two drive types, either a ball screw or a belt.  The ball screw offers high positioning repeatability, while the belt drive offers longer strokes and higher speeds.  Both drive types offer two motor sizes.  Motors are operated by an incremental or absolute driver type.

The new 10 Series Couplings offer the ideal replacement for a luer fitting. These couplings are LinkTech's smallest connectors yet. The new twist lock couplings come equipped with a new and improved "Easy Grip Barrel" that provides an ergonomic handle with a non-slip more secure grip and reliable connection every time.  The LinkTech interchangeable quick couplings are particularly well suited for use on medical applications such as blood pressure cuffs. This standard product range offers 50+ new styles, which includes in-line and panel mount hose barb configurations in both white and black color Acetal (POM) as well as almond colored medical grade Polypropylene.

ASO Safety Bumpers ASO Safety Contact bumpers are safety devices attached to transport vehicles, AGV vehicles, high rack storage areas and flexible systems.  Once attached, the ASO Safety Contact bumper prevents accidents in any situation where over-travel distance is required.  The bumpers are ideal for large gate installations and any place where protection is needed at crushing and shearing points.

The bumper functions with a highly sensitive contact strip in its interior that is activated immediately with any compression.  The compression sends information which is processed by an evaluation electronic unit.  This signals all movements on the vehicle or machine to quickly and safely stop.
