Sheva Carr

 "Being the Source of Love"

Sheva Carr will discuss her journey through discovering what it would really mean to live from the heart and see life in all its ups and downs, trials and tribulations, from love. But this body of work is not about Sheva- it is about you and what she discovered along the way from her experience that might be meaningful to you. Most of us lead plot-centric lives, giving emphasis to the events of life rather than who we are being and becoming within those experiences. Being the source of love, not the book or the class, but the way of life, is an opportunity to live into and tell your own life story as a character driven adventure in which what happens is less important than who you are and what you bring from within you to what happens. When we source love in any circumstance we grow as souls. You are the main character in "Being the Source of Love". The plot, unique to your circumstances, is less interesting than who you become and what you radiate from your heart on the journey.

Lori Toye

"A Teacher Appears"

Are you a student who is ready for a teacher? If so, then welcome to "A Teacher Appears". Lori Toye had never even thought about meditation, let alone asking spirit teachers for help. But all that changed in 1983 when she got a middle-of-the-night bedside "visit" from Master Saint Germain, an eighteenth-century Frenchman and "Ascended Master" who later returned with four of his friends-teachers in white robes who presented a map of America with a new geography, along with a message: it is time for worldwide healing. Despite her questions and doubts, Lori surrendered to their requests and began disseminating their wisdom and messages-the earliest of which are published for the first time in A Teacher Appears. The book offers fifty-one small but simple channeled lessons about Earth Change and humanity's opportunity to open to and accept the I AM Presence-your individualized presence of God. All it requires is inspiration, appreciation, love, and a good teacher.

Sebastian Dudley

"Love Arising

Like many Sebastian Dudley's early years were filled with pain and struggle. As a young adult, he made a choice to be happy and find inner peace. After years of seeking and trying out a variety of paths and teachings, he came to the realization that all there is - is now and the single most important form of love is self-love.

The seeking stopped and Sebastian gradually began to experience deeper and deeper levels of self-love and inner peace. Then on a fateful day in December 2010, Sebastian met Panache Desai and at that divine appointment he surrendered completely to himself. Since that day Sebastian is committed to supporting others to do the same. He isn't offering another modality or teaching, but simply an invitation to enter into a conversation with yourself, in order that you too, might fall hopelessly in love with you.

Hearth Moon Rising

"Invoking Animal Magic
Hearth Moon Rising will discuss her soon to be released book, "Invoking Animal Magic" which takes an experimental and historical approach to understanding the powers we share with our furred, feathered and scaled friends. She explores the power and wisdom of animal allies by sharing an in-depth study of nine
animals with an important place in Euro-paganism, including their myths and legends, historical context and magical themes. Hearth, who is a Dianic priestess and a priestess in the Fellowship of Isis, has taught magic for over twenty years. Her book answers many questions including what is animal magic and how are they involved in healing and what importance do they hold in ancient ritual and Pagan traditions.

Panache Desai

"Experience Your Infinite Potential"

The key to changing the world, to changing your life, and to empowering those around you is authenticity - the willingness to be yourself - the willingness to be vulnerable - the willingness to feel - the willingness to live. Panache is simply reminding you of who you truly are, supporting you into self-love and acceptance by eradicating the judgement that you've imposed on yourself and society has opposed on you. Panache has always known he was different. Even at a young age, he possessed an innate kindness and love rarely experienced from one so young. He was recognized by visitors and teachers as gifted. Along with his experiences came an ability to help people to move through their sadness, anger, or fear - to once again come back to their infinite potential. Today Panache is dedicated to awakening that same potential and cultivating in those around him the same vibrational transformation he experienced all those years ago.

Moon

While the Sun is the core self through which we find expression in the world, the Moon is the inner life that only close companions get to experience. It's the private you that reveals itself behind closed doors, when you've put on something more comfortable. It's also the unguarded you that has to act on instinct, the one that comes out in a crisis. In astrology, the Moon is the instinctual self, and because of that, some might not feel comfortable with its full expression. In times of great stress, these qualities could be exposed and make the person feel strangely out of control. If you've ever completely lost it, you'll know what it's like when the Sun is eclipsed by the Moon and you become a full-fledged "lunatic."

But in daily life, the Moon is what you fall back on to restore your sense of emotional security. It's the little private habits that are comforting. For some this means reaching out socially, but for others this could mean retreating to a solitary corner of the mind. It also speaks volumes about how you handle your intimate life. Some Moons have a detached air, while others cast a welcoming luminescent glow.

A key relationship in astrology is that between the Sun and the Moon. If someone has an ongoing tug-of-war between the will to act and the emotions, it often shows up there. When you understand the essence of the Moon, you're no longer "in the dark." This is valuable information for understanding the interior life of family members, friends and of course, potential romantic partners.

 Gem Stone

Moonstone

Other names for this stone are water opal, fish-eye, and wolf's-eye. Long considered to have inherent connections to the moon by all ancient cultures familiar with the stone, it was used during the waxing of the moon for love charms and during the waning of the moon to foretell the future. The moonstone in India is quite a sacred stone and it is only permitted to be displayed on a yellow cloth. In this culture they called the moonstone Candra Kanta, and it is told that moonlight from a full moon gives the gemstone occult and magical powers. It is believed to bring much good fortune and allows one to see the future.  To dream of moonstone means travel and good health, but may also symbolize the unfolding of spiritual and psychic development. Moonstone has a reflective and calming energy and represents the Great Mother Goddess.

A Golden Opportunity!
by Peter Tongue

During the week of the most powerful energies we have seen for some time, Zia and I were invited to join the wonderful conscious community of Golden, BC, to do some healing sessions, sacred site connection, lead an alchemy workshop, scout some landscape features and join in their sacred ceremonies for the Summer Solstice through their magnificent labyrinth and a fire ceremony on the Capricorn Full Moon- all in five days! Phew!

Our host was an old friend of mine, Starwalker, who I first connected with 18 years ago when she wrote an article in Eagle Eye magazine about Archangel Michael and his connection to Vancouver Island. I was intrigued and became even more so after we met and she told me the story of her anchoring the Archangel Michael six-pointed star Temple over the Canadian Rockies. I knew of this etheric Temple which is usually cited as being over Banff in the literature but here was this diminutive woman who actually physically outlined and anchored the grid using ceremony and crystals! Her wonderful story can be followed on her website, http://angelictemple.homestead.com/

Starwalker lived in Nanaimo at that time, but it wasn't long before she made the move to live inside the Temple near the western gate in Golden, BC. The Temple is a massive structure reaching north to the Columbia Icefields, south to Mt. Asiniboine, east north of Canmore and west to Golden. She is a great fan of George Kavassilas and was the person who inspired me to first connect with him.

Having followed my work with Alchemy and the uncovering of the Victoria landscape zodiac, she invited us to meet her group in Golden to see if there was a potential zodiac there as well as come together in a variety of ceremonial opportunities. We hadn't fully realized the potency of the week, energetically, but we were soon to find out.

We did our first healing session with Starwalker herself at the exact time of the Sun/Jupiter/Lilith conjunction at 10.00am mountain time on the morning of Wednesday June 19th. Many consider this to be the 'Luckiest Day of the Year" with the warning that there can be just too much fire energy around. This conjunction also included Lilith, the wild woman who cannot be tamed or controlled, and boy did she let loose through the waters of Mother Earth within a matter of hours as we moved towards the Solstice and the transition into Cancer. The TransCanada Highway was closed at Golden as the flood waters poured through Calgary and Canmore, blasting the whole area with violent flowing waters.

Somehow we managed to sneak through the closed highway the next morning, as we planned to visit some of the sacred vortex sites of the Archangel Michael Temple including Moraine Lake, and Lake Louise. The next day Zia and I were due to hike Lake O'Hara which is the third lake in the equilateral triangle centred by the "Giant Steps", which is also the centre of the Temple. Alas not to be as a mudslide closed off the approach road to Lake O'Hara. Nevertheless, we had a magnificent visit and ceremony at  Moraine Lake, for me the most powerful spot inside the Temple, overseen majestically and synchronistically by Mt.Temple, named after the English climber, John Temple, who first officially climbed to its top. As the roads were closed Lake Louise was very quiet and I felt real peace there with so few to disturb it.

The Alchemy workshop combined the insights we have gained through my experience of alchemy at the actual boiling furnace, the landscape zodiac alchemical journey and our ongoing work with the metals, minerals and crystals. As we had just moved into Cancer, Zia made an offering to the Golden group of a Lemurian seed crystal, Silver metal and Moonstone, which had all been blessed by our Victoria group, to weave the Golden and Victoria groups together. The package was then buried in ceremony at one of the sacred sites in Golden under the watchful care of Liza, who amazingly was trained in the same tradition and by some of the same teachers as Zia. The Golden group then blessed the Moonstone to be used in the Victoria Cancer journey on July 7th.

The Golden group were very keen to find out if there is a landscape zodiac there and so we set out to try and get some insight and understanding of the Golden landscape features. We began at the top of Mount Seven, so called because it always has a residual #7 in snow at the peak of the mountain. This site is famous for hang-gliding and we stood on the launching pad overhanging the edge of the mountain peering down over the Golden Landscape. The first  vision that struck us was that of a bear outlining the core of the downtown area and then a much bigger structure which looked like a sleek horse and then we were reminded that one of the two rivers that runs through the town is the Kicking Horse River. The other is the Columbia and in fact the confluence of the two rivers is the nose of the bear! What is the significance of the bear in the belly of the horse? Zia reminded us of the Trojan Horse and the legend which involved Hector, a character involved in both legends, including the incident which gave the river, the name Kicking Horse! Hmmm! There were seven of us on this scouting mission and the local team were loving every minute of this fun and fascinating adventure to uncover the mystery of the local landscape. Not necessarily a landscape zodiac yet, but definite power spots and features yet to be fully understood. The journey has begun!

It was wonderful for us to experience the way in which other groups celebrate in ceremony. On the evening of the Summer Solstice, Starwalker herself lead a beautiful ceremony at the stone labyrinth that has been painstakingly built and worked with on the banks of the Blaeberry River. She has a magnificent pure, reflecting, rich black Obsidian sphere which she placed at the centre of the labyrinth. We were invited to set our intention for what the new Earth would be and feel like for us, as we walked the labyrinth and then in turn placed our hands on the jet black "Womb of Creation" to anchor in our own intentions for the greater good. We weaved our way out, joining hands together to set our collective intent. A simple and yet profound ceremony.

On Sunday for the Capricorn Full Moon, Liza, the local Incan trained ceremonial leader, welcomed us into a Fire Ceremony, very similar in nature to the ceremonies we have experienced in Victoria, setting our intentions as we placed our stick into the raging hot flames. It is wonderful to realize that there are other groups operating in similar ways to us with high conscious coherence between the groups. It is very much like meeting old friends and members of our spiritual family and yet for the first time. The events of the week were incredibly encouraging and we were extremely grateful to have had this opportunity to come together as one.

I have just returned from a scouting trip to England and Scotland to firm up our pilgrimage in September following the Dragon Current Ley Lines of the Arthurian Energies and it is going to be a profound and moving experience. The information is at the link below and I really hope you will be called to join us.

Gemini Workshop

Balancing the Gemini Twins

Our day began with a vigorous climb up a new trail to the top of Little Mt. Doug, which is one of the twins in the Landscape Effigy of Gemini. One twin represents the Christ energy and one the Buddha energy, through a seated Kwan Yin in the landscape. The twins are on either side of the Blenkinsop Valley which has the Lochside Trail running straight down its backbone, a family oriented cycling and walking trail that is a north/south ley line running through the zodiac. The views from the top of little Mt. Doug are spectacular and we opened sacred space around the single and most prominent Arbutus tree. We also visited the site where two years ago we buried a Lemurian seed crystal in the pineal gland of the Messianic Head of the Christ, clearly visible on Google Earth! It was a wonderful start to our day.

We then returned to Galey Farm to enjoy our shared pot luck picnic and discussion around the qualities of Gemini and the current Astrological impacts which were quite significant. As we arrived at the farm, we were highly amused to see the Babe's Honey shop outlet even had some bees buzzing around on site. One of the classic Gemini descriptions is of the buzzing bees of the mind-the non-stop idle chitter chatter of the ego- a shadow of Gemini-and here they were!

On the positive side, pollination is also one of the Gemini characteristics as the bees and birds go about their task of spreading the pollen and scattering the seeds. It is not a coincidence that Pentecost occurs in Gemini, fifty days after Easter, when the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles through the Holy Dove, enlightening them to speak in tongues and spread Christ's message around the Globe. Gemini communication through the spoken word being scattered and seeded. It is amazing how these synchronicities continue to occur on this sacred journey.

We were in a huge Gemini influence during this time in many different ways and Melanie discussed the importance of staying focused and aligned through the opposite sign of Sagittarius. Keeping our eye on the target of our destiny, while allowing the brilliant and varied ideas of the Gemini mind to spring forth, only retaining the relevant ones. We also discussed the impending Cancer influence and therefore the need to feel our connection to our spiritual support and family.

Our afternoon journey was to cross the valley and spend time in the Kwan Yin effigy to balance the two twins. One important spot in the landscape as discerned by Mary Dowds was the junction of Emily Carr Drive and Maltwood Crescent, the names of two of the most inspiring women of Victoria, with Katharine Maltwood being the brilliant mind behind the discovery of the Glastonbury Zodiac. Having visited the pineal gland on the other side of the valley, we now paused in the crown and third eye of Kwan Yin in the landscape.

Our next stop along this route, was a short side trip to connect with a giant Red Maple tree, the twin sister of the one on Madrona Farm we visited in Taurus. We continued on arriving at Donwood which has a lovely vista overlooking Little Mt.Doug where we started the day. This spot is the closest point between the two effigies where we imagined a rainbow bridge arching across the valley joining Christ and Kwan Yin as one. We rested here for a quiet moment of inner reflection. On our recent scouting mission for this day, Zia and I had the remarkable experience of observing A PULSING RAINBOW appearing and disappearing in rhythmic fashion over little Mt. Doug, as if Mother Earth was showing us her beautiful beating heart.

Directly below us was the Lochside Trail and linking us was a short, steep downhill section that opened out into a stone cave power spot. We continued our journey heading south down the Lochside Trail towards the Blenkinsop Tressle. This tressle goes over Blenkinsop Lake which is the heart chakra of the whole valley and an eight- pointed star intersecting point for a series of ley lines. Here to our great surprise, Zia appeared riding along on a bicycle, on the Gemini air wearing the most imaginative Gemini mask she had created last year. She gave us bee pollen to symbolically spread the seeds of new consciousness around the land, the water and the air. It felt really good. We then offered the gem stone, Carnelian, associated with Gemini, back to Mother Earth through the waters of the lake.

Our final stopping point at the base of the trail was a remarkable metallic sculpture which is in the shape of a spiralling cone pointing into the ground. Last year, we anchored the energies of the day through this structure, connecting the arching rainbow bridge and offering our conscious blessings for a wonderful growing season for our hard working valley farmers. This year we were startled by the energy flowing in and out of this cone shaped structure. It was in full force. What a blessing!

We closed space with a deep appreciation for a magnificent day in the Gemini landscape while listening to the beautiful sounds of "The Rainbow Connection" as recorded by the beloved Carpenters!

Our Cancer Temple of the Stars journey will take place on Sunday, July 7th, the 7:7 and our Leo journey will take place a month later on Sunday, August 4th.

The Red Spots of Jupiter

In July, Jupiter moves into the dawn sky, where it meets up with Mars in a very close conjunction on July 22nd. An added bonus is nearby Mercury, rising to one of its best morning appearances of the year.

Jupiter has undergone major changes to its cloud belts in recent years. The south equatorial belt (the darkish horizontal band just below centre in the image) which disappeared entirely in 2010, is now prominent again. The famous Great Red Spot sits on the south edge of this belt. The "eyebrow" created as the belt clouds flow around the Red Spot is often more obvious than the Red Spot itself, which is a pale salmon colour. Even less prominent is the Little Red Spot, located immediately below the Big Red Spot.

Jupiter rotates in less than 10 hours, which spins the clouds atop Jupiter's atmosphere into these distinctive belts.

Astrological Signs
Cancer

Cancer is a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon and natives have a strong survival instinct. They are protective of those they care about, and of themselves too. They are often quite reticent about sharing their inner selves to the rest of the world, and are often caught up in reminisce. Cancers have a reputation for moodiness, although this trait is most evident when the Moon is in Cancer. Cancer needs roots. They resist change to an extent, and concern themselves about being secure and safe in most everything they do. Cancers can be quite intrigued by objects with history attached to them - antiques, photos, souvenirs, and the like. Cancer is a very sensitive sign, and they don't always appreciate it when you are blunt with them. Their reactions to hurt will depend on how thick a shell they have developed. Most Cancers react by withdrawing or retreating. Some have developed an ability to manipulate others to get what they want. As a rule, they avoid direct confrontations, however they will occasionally lash out with one of their sharpened crab claws. Overall, Cancers are, in fact, quite yielding and soft when you have them in the right mood. They are one of the more hospitable signs of the zodiac. Sure, they can be touchy and indirect, but they are also very dependable, caring souls.

Blue Heron

Self Reflection

Heron medicine is the power of knowing the self by discovering its gifts and facing its challenges. It is the ability to accept all feelings and opinions without denying any emotions or thought. Blue Heron is urging you to dive into the watery world of feelings to seek your truth. Heron teaches you to develop your self-reflective skills so that you can come to know yourself in an intimate way. The magnificence of your human spirit lies waiting for the joy of discovery, if you are courageous enough to follow the Water bird throughout the journey.
