ESS Registration & Rate Changes

If you would like to utilize the ESS program next school year, please make sure to register prior to June 18th. The application and information packet are available here. Please note that there are changes being made to how fees are calculated, especially for part-time and morning users. For example, one of the changes we are making is to implement a $7/morning fee for AM ESS rather than charging hourly. For more detail about this change and others, please read through the packet and follow up with Amy Davis if you have any questions.

Personnel Change

I am sorry to announce that after nine years of service to Sacred Heart School as Vice Principal, Ms. Gray has decided that it is time for her to move on and pursue other opportunities. Her love of Catholic education and care for all of our students will be missed.

At this time we are not planning to hire a new vice principal but instead to take some time to evaluate exactly what our school needs. In the interim, other staff and teachers will be stepping up to take on various roles. More information will follow at the end of the summer when we have had time to formulate a more complete plan. Mrs. Lawler will continue in her role as math specialist and vice principal and will be involved in more administrative activities next year.

Thank You to all of the parents who volunteered last Friday and made our annual Field Day possible. It really takes a whole village to run all of the activities, lunch, scoring, etc. I am happy to report that our somewhat shortened day resulted in many fewer bumps and scrapes and meltdowns, especially among our youngest students.

Thank you especially to Robert Treves and Ken Fernando for all of their work in coordinating this amazing day of fun and tradition.

Please join us as we celebrate Tim Murphy's dedication to Catholic education at his retirement party on Saturday, June 6 at 5 p.m. Mass followed by a reception in the Gym. Please register at the following link:  Tim Murphy Rocks!. If you have any special memories that you would like to share with Tim, please email Carrie Morrissey. We are compiling a book of special thoughts and memories to give to him.
