Jog-a-Thon
Our annual Jog-a-thon kick off will be tomorrow. Watch for information about the event, to be held on Tuesday, May 19th!
This is the final fundraising event of the school year and proceeds will support general operations and tuition assistance. 80% of your contributions to Jog-A-Thon apply to your annual Flexible Fundraising amount.
This fundraiser is a fun activity that allows everyone to participate. The students, running in their family colors, run for 20 minutes each in the lower lot with many of our teachers and staff. Pledges will again be collected on-line, giving you a chance to include family and friends from all over with very little book keeping on your part. The website is live starting tomorrow, so you may begin soliciting donations right away at www.sacredheart.org/jogathon. Top runners and fundraisers earn prizes! We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, tear down, first aid, and general event help, so mark your calendars and plan to join us. A Sign-Up Genius will be sent around soon from your CCCs. - Jog-A-Thon Committee

Three Spring Lunch Recess Playground Volunteers Needed
We are in our third (and final) trimester of Lunch Recess coverage for the school year. Things are looking much brighter than they did last trimester, but we still need one day each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:10-1:05 from now until the end of the school year. If this is something you can take on long-term, or even want to volunteer for an afternoon or two, we would greatly appreciate your help. Please e-mail Denise Montoya, our Lunch Recess Playground Volunteer Coordinator and our Vice Principal, Connie Gray.
Thank you! - Ms. Gray

Photos Needed!
Yearbook team needs your help! We are looking for candid photos from the school year for all grades - field trips, dances, First communion, playground, classroom, science fair, culture fair, wax museum, etc. We are also looking for some great selfies from our students. I know we've all seen them on Instagram so send them to yearbook@sacredheart.org for a special section of the yearbook. Top 5 selfies will receive a Jamba Juice gift card!
Costco is Now Selling Uniform Items!
Costco is now selling a few of our uniform pieces online under the French Toast brand. Currently they are selling a khaki pleated skort that can be worn by our middle school girls, navy blue and white polos, navy pants (K-5), khaki shorts, and khaki pants (girls 6-8), all at great prices! Some of you may be familiar with this brand; I can tell you from previous experience, this is a quality brand. Their items are durable and wear well. - Ms. Gray
Grandparents' and Grandfriends' Day
Sacred Heart School is excited to once again welcome your children's grandparents and grandfriends to our school for a morning of liturgy and time with the children on May 8. As we are busy preparing for this special day, we need your help in letting us know if the grandparentsand/or grandfriends in your family will be attending. Please RSVP your confirmation with the number of grandparents attending as well as their mailing address by clicking on the following webpage. Once we receive your confirmation, we will send out a formal invitation to the attending guests.
It is very important that we receive this information as soon as possible, as we will have a complimentary continental breakfast specifically for the grandparents and grandfriends and we want to ensure the caterer has the correct number of attendees.
- Thank you for your attention and we look forward to welcoming these special guests to our school.
Lost and Found - LAST CHANCE
Our lost and found closet is over-filled with items and we must clear it out once again. We pulled the rolling rack out into the foyer before Easter Break for easier visibility and will leave it out through TOMORROW - Friday, April 24th. At that time, all unclaimed items will be donated and we will start fresh again in lost and found! Items on our rack include those left behind in the Moore Theater area during Passion play practices and Playmaker practices. Smaller, more valuable items, are placed at the front office and include two pairs of glasses recently found at the school. Please inquire with Kerry Wyman at the front desk accordingly.
