Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
Conferences take place next week from 7:30am until 2:30pm on Monday, 11:40am until 7pm on Tuesday, and 8am until 11am. on Wednesday.
Middle School conferences will take place in the gym during those times on a drop-in basis. Meal breaks for the teachers are from 11:30am-12pm on Monday and 3:30-4:40pm on Tuesday. Please do not come to meet with teachers from 20 minutes before either of these break times until the break time is over or less than 20 minutes before the end of the conference day. This is to ensure that parents and students have a reasonable amount of time to meet with the teachers and that our teachers get fed (nobody wants to have a conference with a hungry teacher).

News from the Health Room
A huge thank you for everyone's help and cooperation with our annual vision and hearing screenings of students in grades K-3, 5 and 7th. Our fantastic parent volunteers conducted the necessary screenings for 261 students. This year we had 35 parents volunteer to conduct the initial screenings as well as come back to help with the required re-screenings for 99 students. Several of the parents volunteered to work multiple shifts. This is the 3rd year that Brianna Bennett has chosen the health screening volunteer coordinator position as her service job. She continues to do a fantastic job in recruiting parents, being present for every aspect of the screenings and making sure that things run smoothly. We could not have done the screenings without you and our volunteers!! Lastly, a thank you goes out to all the staff for your flexibility and cooperation during the screenings.
Annual screenings are beneficial & identify potential vision and/or hearing issues. I'll be emailing the results to the parents of the 33 students whose results come with the recommendation for further evaluation.
Lastly, there has been a recent change to our phone system so now any calls made from the health room will display our direct number instead of the school main phone number. Please note that the direct health room phone number is 425-283-4270. Anytime a call is made to parents from the health room a voicemail message will be left for you.

Jimmy John's Drinks
From this point forward we are asking that parents not order fountain drinks from Jimmy John's. Bottled water is fine. We have had ongoing problems with the fountain drinks including the wrong drinks arriving with the order, unlabeled drinks that are hard to distribute to the right student, spills, drinks not arriving at all, and more. The school provides milk each day for those who ordered during the registration process and bottled water is always welcome as it is easy to distribute and spill-proof. Thank you for your cooperation.

Annual Parish Pledge Reminder
As the annual Parish Pledge drive winds down, please remember that everyone who receives the "Contributing Parishioner" tuition rate is expected to be a registered parishioner with a pledge card on file each year and to be making regular payments toward fulfilling your pledge. - Mr. Burroughs
