WHAT:  Talented Sacred Heart 3rd and 4th graders will be performing this fun comedic drama, directed by our own Britt Boyd.  Fans of the book series know that every school should be as much fun as Wayside School, where the zany class on the thirtieth floor has never had a boring day.  Expect the unexpected, since creative classmates always have a surprise in store.

WHEN:  Thursday, November 6th at 7pm and Friday, November 7th at 7pm (Friday performance sold-out)

WHERE:  The SHS Moore Theatre

Open House - November 12th

Sacred Heart's annual Open House will be held this year on Wednesday, November 12th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for you to invite friends, neighbors, and relatives to come and see our school community. Prospective families will have the opportunity to learn more about our school and the admissions process. The evening will include guided campus tours and teachers in grades pre-kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1-5th grades will be available to speak to families about their programs.

Please contact Susana Knapp if you know a family interested in SHS as she would love to speak with them, send them an invitation, and watch for them that evening.  Your friends are some of our best future SHS families!  Also, if you would like to be a Parent Tour Guide that evening, please contact Susana and she will be happy to have you in this fun and special role!  Training will take place earlier that same day and she will let you know details accordingly.

Homework Feedback

Homework at Sacred Heart School is meant to reinforce concepts taught in the classroom and provide an opportunity for practice. It should not be a source of anxiety for your child or your family. If a particular night's homework is overwhelming and taking an excessive amount of time, please complete this form and send it to school the next day. Your child will not be penalized for incomplete work, though they may still need to make it up in order to learn the concept(s) being taught. Your feedback will help us to make sure that homework is productive and effective for all of our students.

- Mr. Burroughs and Ms. Gray

Trunk or Treat

I want to thank all of the families who made our second Trunk or Treat such a terrific success! Thank you to everyone who decorated a car (or horse trailer) and distributed candy, pizza, or other treats. This is a great family event. Congratulations to the Iden and Krueger families for being this year's best-decorated "car"! Thank you also to all of our volunteers who helped to organize and run the event, especially Megan Weitz, our Trunk or Treat Chairperson.

 - Mr. Burroughs

Annual Parish Pledge

It is time to renew and update your annual pledge to Sacred Heart Parish. Pledge cards are available in the bulletin, the parish office and the school office. Each year the school receives financial support from the parish in the amount of 20% of the parish's income. The more you can give to the parish, the more we will receive in support of our school's programs, projects, and facilities. - Mr. Burroughs
