Sacred Heart School Green Team

Under the guidance of our Student Council, Sacred Heart has been accepted into the King County Green School Program, a program that helps public and private schools in King County become more environmentally friendly. For more information, please visit the SHS website.

Middle School Open House - January 29th, Presentation 6:30-7:30pm

Current 4th and 5th grade families, please put this on your calendar as it will be a great opportunity to meet all the MS teachers, hear from recent SHS graduates currently in HS, and ask any questions you may have about our amazing MS program.  Also, please invite any non-SHS families you know that are interested in making a switch for their child's middle school experience.  For these potential new families, we will also have short school tours available before and after the presentation time frame.  New families are welcome to come as early as 6pm for a tour.

All School Open House - January 30th   9am -1:30pm

Current Sacred Heart students will lead tours throughout the school on this day during Catholic Schools Week.  This is a great opportunity for your friends/family with students at any grade level to come and tour around the school.  If they know they are coming, they can RSVP to Susana Knapp at sknapp@sacredheart.org or just drop in anytime between 9am-1:30pm.

Social Media Update for Parents

It's hard for a parent to keep up with all of the latest apps and websites that attract our children today. This article posted online provides a quick update on some of the latest social media trends along with information about the concerns related to each of them. It's well worth the couple of minutes it will take you to read it, and will hopefully lead to a good discussion between you and your child on the do's and don'ts of the online world. - Mr. Burroughs

CYO Summer Camp Registration

The 2014 CYO summer camp registration opens this Friday January 17th at 8am! We are so excited to welcome you to camp this summer with new adventures and a focus on faith.  Some of our more popular programs fill up quickly including our Horse Camps, Extreme Adventure, and Nanamakee.  So if you are looking for specific programs and dates sign up soon!

We've been hard at work designing a new website to make it easier for you to find photos, information about camp and to register.

The new web address is www.seattlearchdiocese.org/camping .

This year we also debut a new registration program.  This program has streamlined the process and will make it easier for you to register for multiple weeks and siblings.  Your previous information will already be entered for you to update.  The register now link is live, but you will only be able to update your information until Friday.  If you have any questions about the process don't hesitate to call 206-382-4591 or email us.

Thank you for supporting CYO Summer Camps.  We can't wait to serve your family this summer!
