What better way to celebrate 40 years of outstanding special recreation than by playing the WDSRA Summer of Fun 40th Anniversary Challenge!  It's fun and easy for all ages and abilities.

How to Play
1. Pick up your FREE WDSRA Summer of Fun magnet (or visit www.wdsra.com for a complete list of activities)
2. Check off the fun activities as you go
3. Post your fun to WDSRA social media
4. Win prizes

Details: Magnets were handed out the first week of summer programs and are available at the WDSRA office. Entries are valid when posted on WDSRA social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter @WeAreWDSRA). Entries can be made for any/all of the items listed on the magnets. Entries may be posted to all WDSRA social media channels by WDSRA. Winners will be drawn weekly and one Grand Prize Winner will be drawn after Labor Day. The WDSRA Summer of Fun 40th Anniversary Challenge runs through Labor Day.

BMW Drive for WDSRA

Lend a Helping Hand with Your Foot on the Pedal!

DMW Drive for WDSRA Have you wanted a reason to get behind the wheel of a BMW? Now you have one! 

During the BMW Drive for a Cause all you have to do is test drive a BMW at Elmhurst BMW anytime from June through August, and Elmhurst BMW will make a donation to WDSRA. It is that easy!

Elmhurst BMW wants to raise $10,000 for WDSRA. We can do it with YOUR help! Just head on over and tell them you are there to test drive for WDSRA.

Golf Outing a Success Thanks to Many!

2016 golf outing
We had beautiful weather and a fantastic turnout. A great time was had by all! We are delighted that golfers, sponsors and volunteers came out to show their support. Thanks to everyone for spending their day with WDSRA!

Support of this event continues to provide the support needed to make a difference in the quality of life for so many children, teens and adults. The funds raised make it possible for WDSRA to provide a variety of programs and inclusion services that become an integral part of a person's life and the lives of all members of the family.

We hope that you will continue to support WDSRA!

Sensory Garden Play Days Open to ALL Families!

2016 Summer Play Days: 6/18, 7/16, 8/20

Sensory Garden Playground  play day
Everyone is invited to an all-inclusive Play Day at the Sensory Garden Playground. Play Days have special family-friendly fun for everyone including: face-painting, lawn games, gardening, and a whole lot of more!

Special needs children & their siblings are FREE. All other guests are $6/ticket.

The SMG Special Needs Screenings features family-friendly movies. Movies are shown with the lights up, the volume lowered and children are free to move around, talk or even dance in the aisles during the movie. Plus, order any menu item marked with the SMG Chefs for Charity badge and SMG will donate 5% of the proceeds to WDSRA.
Special Needs Swim Night 

Families with individuals who have special needs are invited to enjoy a relaxing evening after the regular operating hours of Centennial Beach. The shallow end of the slide will be open too.

No registration is required. Cost is $3 per person at the door or you may apply your membership toward entry. You do not need to be a Naperville resident to participate. For more information, visit Centennial Beach.
