Wildcats Are Going to State!

Congratulations to all seven WDSRA Wildcats teams that participated in the Special Olympics District Basketball Tournament held 1/24/16 at West Chicago High School. A hearty congratulations to Wildcats 1 & 2 as they earned a spot to compete at the State Tournament March 11-13.

Their program will feature state and national leaders speaking on a variety of topics relevant to individuals with disabilities. Speakers are from the Department of Rehabilitation Services, Human Services Research Institute, Division of Developmental Disabilities and more.

Special Needs Screening--Kung Fu Panda 3
Kung Fu Panda 3 After reuniting with his long-lost father, Po must transition from student to teacher and train a group of fun-loving, clumsy pandas to become martial-arts fighters. Together, the kung-fu brethren unite to take on the evil Kai.

The SMG Special Needs Screenings features family-friendly movies. Movies are shown with the lights up, the volume lowered and children are free to move around, talk or even dance in the aisles during the movie. Plus, order any menu item marked with the SMG Chefs for Charity badge and SMG will donate 5% of the proceeds to WDSRA.
