SRA Art Show Open to the Public

  

participant with artwork The 9th Annual SRA Art Show gives artists from several special recreation associations an opportunity to have their works displayed in a gallery setting. Pieces will be on display Wed., 4/15 thru Sat., 4/25. (Specific days and time vary. See flyer for details). 

A closing reception is being held Sun., 4/26 where attendees can view the artwork, enjoy live music and refreshments, and make a craft. This is a great family event!

Be a Part of Comcast Cares Days!

 

Comcast Cares logo Every year on Comcast Cares Day, tens of thousands of Comcast employees, their families and friends make a positive impact in neighborhoods across the country. It's part of their year-round commitment to making a difference in local communities.

WDSRA is thrilled to once again have been selected as a recipient. Comcast employees, their families and friends will work alongside WDSRA volunteers at two different sites.

Projects include: collating invitations for the upcoming golf outing, washing windows, landscaping, cleaning buses and a local park clean-up.

WDSRA Drop Off Site for Food Drive

Donations sought include: flour, sugar, cooking oil, canned meats, powdered/evaporated milk, canned fruits/vegetables, rice, cereal, peanut butter, pasta, diapers, laundry soap, toiletries, etc.

District 200 FREE Day of Play

 

WDSRA is proud to be a part of the Family Day of Play! Families in the Wheaton/Warrenville community are invited to a morning of fun activities for young children and information for parents and caregivers. Family Day of Play is an opportunity to recognize the importance of early learning and play as a vital component in the growth and development of children.

Must be accompanied by an adult 18+.

You Raise Me Up Concert

 

The 6th annual "You Raise Me Up" concert to benefit Special Olympics Illinois Area 2 is a real treat for the whole family! This year's concert features a host of talent including local Special Olympic Athletes sharing their personal experiences.
