Enrollment projections for 2014-15 school year Last month, we released our annual spring enrollment projections for the 2014-15 school year. An estimated 52,400 students are expected to attend school in the District this fall - an increase of 1,300 students over the year ending in June. Our new enrollment projections clearly indicate that we are continuing to grow, and with that does come challenges. More.

Student Celebrations
|
Students in the Ballard High School Digital Filmmaking Program won 15 awards and honors across six different categories at the 16th annual Northwest High School Film Festival at the Cinerama Theater. Some of the award-winning productions will be screened at the BHS Film Festival on Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.

* Garfield hosts 6th annual drumline expo (Capitol Hill Seattle Blog)
Garfield High School hosted the sixth annual Bulldog Drumline Expo this month featuring middle and high school drumlines from across the state engaging in "friendly drumline battles. Kids from Roosevelt, Bellevue, Cleveland, Glacier Peak, Graham, Kapowsin, Moses Lake, Cascade, O'dea, Franklin high schools, and Washington Middle School participated.
