This message updates discussions on the possible closure of the Pinehurst K-8 program after this school year. After much research and looking at alternatives, my preliminary recommendation is that the program should be closed. No decision has been made at this time. The School Board will have the final decision authority. More.

Student Celebrations
|
Students from Ballard's award-winning drama and music departments recently traveled to Scotland and performed at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Ballard was selected as one of 40 high schools from the U.S. and Canada and was one of more than 1,800 performing groups from around the world.

Staff Celebrations

Teachers honored as 'Heroes in the Classroom'
Nathan Hale teacher Doug Edelstein and Roxhill Elementary teacher Robin Hicks were recognized for teaching excellence as 'Heroes in the Classroom' during ceremonies at their schools and Century Link Field.
