Early Voting Begins for April Consolidated Election
WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Lake County Clerk Willard Helander reminds Lake County registered voters that early voting for the April 9th Consolidated Election begins Monday, March 25 and ends Saturday, April 6. Early voting is available Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Early voters are required to present a valid Illinois driver's license, an Illinois identification card issued by the Secretary of State, or another valid government-issued identification document containing their photograph. Identification with an address different from registration record require additional verification set forth under 10 ILCS 5/17-10.
"Early voting continues to be a popular choice for voters. To ensure unforeseen events do not prevent you voting on Election Day, select the most convenient day and time to vote early," said Helander.
Voters can visit LakeVoterPower.info and enter information to confirm their registration at their current address, see a sample ballot, and find their early and Election Day voting site.
