Preview February's Ballots Online

WAUKEGAN, Illinois - County Clerk Willard Helander announced today that registered voters in North Chicago, Waukegan, and Waukegan Township may now preview their official ballot for the February 26 Democratic Primary at using the "What is on My Ballot?" link.

The February 26 Consolidated Primary for registered voters in the City of North Chicago, the City of Waukegan, and Waukegan Township is a Democratic primary only because no contested Republican candidates or nonpartisan public questions were certified.

The user is prompted to supply registration name, house number, zip code and date of birth to view the correct ballot for the registered voter's address. Voters who have not supplied the County Clerk's office with a valid Illinois Driver's license number or last four digits of Social Security number will not be able to use the online feature.

Sample ballots may be printed, marked with the voter's choices, and taken into the polls for reference when voting.

"The one-click web tool to preview the official ballot prior to voting is very helpful to voters studying candidates and referendum," said Helander. "Our expanded online services have received positive response from our web users."

The February 26 Consolidated Primary in the cities of North Chicago and Waukegan as well as Waukegan Township is a primary for only Democratic candidates because no contested Republican candidates nor nonpartisan public questions were certified for the election.
