 The Step up for Down Syndrome Walk is Saturday, October 12th at 9am and we need your help to support our team "Cruising for Kaitlyn". Your contribution goes to assist parents who cannot afford the necessary therapies to help their children reach their highest potential. Dear Friends,
This week I had an opportunity to share my faith with someone working in a local store. It was a natural conversation as I simply began talking about Incarnation and Canterbury. They were genuinely interested and even hungry to hear about Christianity. I believe this should be a common everyday experience as we go about our daily tasks. We simply need to pray that God would open our ears to hear and our eyes to see these moments when we can proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ. We take everyday moments, ordinary things, normal routines and as we pray and seek the Lord the possibility is that common things can be leveraged into Kingdom moments. I believe God will give us Divine Appointments, He will order our steps to people who are ready and eager to hear about Jesus. I challenge us to steward the Gospel and to look for opportunities to share our faith. I'm reminded of 1 Peter 3:15... "in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect," I grabbed this from Dave Buehring's website and it is appropriate for us as we desire to see the Kingdom of God grow - one heart at a time.
