Dear Friends,

What a great day at Incarnation as we focus on the mission of the church internally and externally; local and worldwide. Look for information soon regarding the HO people of India and how we will be praying for them to come to know Jesus and opportunities to connect with Global Teams. Right now we are participating in the advance of God's Kingdom beyond our community through prayer and giving. We have sent individuals (James and Hannah) abroad on mission trips. I believe there will come a day when we participate in greater ways sending teams of folks around the world. Pray that God would order our steps.

The Mission Locally...
This email is full of a lot of information regarding upcoming events and programs. We are utilizing all sorts of media to get the word out. Next Sunday on September 1st we will put a banner on the from of Canterbury's property announcing the new Saturday service on September 14 and inviting people to join us in the mission. That will help but more than facebook, press releases and such; THE BANNER we need is each one of us sharing with friends, neighbors, co-workers, students and dare say "strangers" about the life we have in Christ at Church of the Incarnation. Join me in praying for favor and for folks to discover the love of God in us and through us.

Special 9/11 Service - 7pm in the St. Augustine Chapel at Canterbury with Steve Fry

Join us Wednesday, September 11th at 7pm for a special night of praise and worship, a time of remembering our national tragedy 12 years ago, a time for encouragement in faith, hope and love. We welcome internationally known church leader Steve Fry. Steve is a long time friend of Incarnation, known to many of us for his ministry of music, teaching, encouragement and more.
