Dear Friends,
Sunday was a rich time of fellowship, worship, joy and celebration! ( you can listen to the testimony and sermon -
Click Here) We welcomed folks from our communion class which for a few of them was their
First Communion. Jada Kearns went above and beyond preparing and teaching this class and I was so glad to be a part of it and to see the fruit of it in our service on Sunday. This brings up the need to recruit some volunteers in two areas of our Church Life.
We need assistants in the Catachesis to assist the atriums to function well. Ideally we would like to see 16 people volunteer so that we would have four teams and folks would assist once a month. I would ask you to pray about this and if you have question contact Jada at
jadakearns@hotmail.comThe second need is our Flower Guild. Right now there are just three people in this ministry and we have a specific need to have more folks involved. The Flower Guild wants to make the arrangements for the Canterbury Dinner on June 2nd. (22 of them plus some buffet arrangements) This would be a great opportunity for folks to plug-in and serve. The Flower Guild beautifies and enhances our worship every week as well as some very special moments throughout the year. You don't have to be skilled but rather just have a desire and you can be trained and equipped. If you want to help or if you have questions contact Roseddy Montgomery
