I learned on Saturday morning of the passing of a modern mystic, a saint, a mentor and friend. Brennan Manning stepped into the nearer presence of Christ on Friday, April 12. Brennan was a prolific author, profound yet simple in his expression about the Grace of God. Though I only met him once, I can honestly say no one has taught me more about the unending, fathomless, unconditional love of God.
