Lay Eucharistic Minister Training Sunday, April 14
(following the 10:15 service)

Deacon Dick will conduct training for those who feel called to serve as a Lay Eucharistic Minister (LEM) Those currently serving as LEMs are invited especially if you are new to the ministry. We will then acquire the required licenses from the diocese. The training should take no longer than 30 minutes.

Sunday, April 7th,Was a full day of one that touched me personally as we experienced the Ministry of Kings Kids. They shared their stories of faith, led great worship, and proclaimed the Gospel in song, dance, drama and more. They prayed with folks and shined for Jesus.

Kings Kids has been around awhile. I was part of it in 1978-1981. It formed me in faith and ministry. I learned so much in those days and in someways those embers were fanned a bit by the ministry we had yesterday. I share with you an old picture. (it is hard to believe I was ever that young!)

I could not help but think how simple and yet how powerful the Gospel is. The message of Jesus is that by faith and God's love and grace we are transported from darkness to light; from captivity to freedom, from death to life, all things become new. It really is amazing grace - I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see.
