Dear Friends,
A lot to cover in this email... At our Annual Meeting yesterday Greg Seavers, Steve Overstreet and Richard Cerezo to the vestry. (this is pending Bishop Brewer's approval as a mission he appoints our vestry members - usually a simple request and formality) We offer thanks to Sharon Mafarachisi, Ron Hines and Martin Polomski for their faithful service these last three years. There is much to be thankful for in the mission: for provision and good stewardship; staff and vestry; leaders and volunteers and more. If I were to summarize my address at the meeting it is simply to say IT IS TIME! We are poised to step into the depth of ministry God has for us and we are already seeing this in bible studies, prayer, worship and outreach. We shared a Chili Lunch sponsored by the youth group and particularly James Morical in raising money for his summer mission to Honduras. Our Diocesan Convention was wonderful, lively, inspiring and I am energized as we move forward together in mission and ministry. I was humbled and honored to be elected to the Diocesan Standing Committee. You can watch Bishop Brewer's address
