Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Dear Friends, We are truly blessed as we walk the journey of faith in the mission in Oviedo. We had a great Stewardship Potluck Luncheon on Sunday and hope you have turned in your pledge card, (if you haven't this is a gentle reminder. Pledge cards are available at the chapel and You can download / print a web version of the pledge card - Click Here  This coming Sunday ( Christ the King Sunday) we will welcome Elijah Rodriguez into the church in the sacrament of Holy Baptism. Jose and Heather invite you to a reception following the service. Also this Sunday at 9:00am... Please join us in the Pastor's Class Sunday as we welcome Gladys Rodriguez. She will share the impact of Jesus' calling on her life and the powerful transformation from a theater, TV and film actress in Puerto Rico to her ministry as an evangelist and teacher of God's Word in His Kingdom. She will talk about the difference between the skills of commercial communication and communicating by the Holy Spirit. She had a radio ministry for three years and was a sought after speaker at Retreats & Conferences in Puerto Rico. She is currently a student at Reformed Theological Seminary. Advent begins December 2nd and the full holiday rush will be upon us. There is a lot happening in our life in the weeks ahead (see below) and I hope you will take time to join in the fun.
