St. Aidan's parishioners have been enjoying the summer camps at Shrine Mont! Here are some of their favorite camp adventures, and a few words about where they experienced God while at camp:
Kevin Coneway, St. George's I - Kevin's favorite thing at camp was Kangaroo Court but he also liked Casino Night, the pool party and playing Cows and the Chickens. He liked the counselors and coffee house. He saw God at all camp worship.
Ryan Coneway, St. George's II - Ryan's favorite part about St. George's camp was all the fun activities like Kangaroo Court, Casino Night, and the pool party. He saw God in all the fun with friends there.
Nat Boling, St. George's II - Nat's favorite things about Shrine Mont are the food and how much fun they have at worship and the evening program. He says he experienced God "everywhere" at St. G's.
Sophia Rees-Hoofnagle, St. George's II - Sophie also enjoyed the food at camp, but requested lots of fruit and vegetables upon return. She was excited to hike up North Mountain (2 hours up!). She found God most at nightly cabin check-ins.
Audrey Boling (not pictured), SHYC (Senior High Youth Conference) - This was Audrey's second year at SHYC, a group of high schoolers that enjoy many of the regular camp activities but spend most of their days working on service projects in the local community. (She was unavailable to provide specific comments at press time.)
