Spreading Hope Through Yarn
Congratulations to Leslye Borden of Handmade Especially for You, a non-profit organization that donates handmade scarves to women in shelters across the country. We are so happy that UPS Wishes Delivered Program chose Handmade as a grant recipient of $10,000 in shipping credit for shipping scarves to shelters. Crystal Palace is a proud supporter of the organization, providing several boxes of scarf yarn a year to Leslye and her band of knitters. Panda Silk: New Colors
We have six new beautiful shades of Panda Silk We have added two new solids, 3057 "Rich Purple" and 3058 "Marsala", and four new vibrant multis, 5216 "Tropical Parrot", 5217 "Citrus Berry", 5218 "Zimbabwe" and 5219 "Jungle Calm".
Panda Silk is a fingering-weight blend of bamboo, merino wool and silk. It has incredible drape and sheen. Be sure to check out the free and indie Panda Silk patterns on our website.

Allegro Lace Striped Socks
Allegro Lace is a great yarn for socks. The new Striped Socks pattern is a basic sock with half-calf shaping, turned heel, gusset decreases and toe decreases. With the extensive Allegro Lace palette, there are numerous color combinations to fit all tastes and wardrobes. It takes one skein each of two contrasting colors to make the pair.

Allegro Aran Contest Results
W e just finished up our last of the three Allegro giveaway contests. We had over 200 participants and awarded two skeins of Allegro Aran to each of three winners. Congratulations to Michelle P, Sofia M and Phyllis Y! Enjoy your yarn!
One of the questions on the contest form was "What is your favorite color of Allegro Aran?" The most popular color choice was 9068 "Deep Teal". Tied for second place were 9091 "Plum Jam", 9094 "Aubergine" and 9096 "Granite".
We also asked what each participant would make out of Allegro Aran. The answers included hats, scarves, mittens, cowls, sweaters, shawls, and socks.
