FREE Knit Patterns:
Danube DK & Panda Pearl
Danube DK is an excellent choice for the Lacy Lattice Hat. The slow-striping of Danube along with the eyelet pattern make this a very eye-catching project! It takes one ball to make.
Our latest Panda Pearl pattern, the Side-Stepping Cowl, is delightful, and it takes less than one skein to make. (Two skeins should yield three cowls!) Cowls are versatile accessories, great for style, comfort and warmth. Panda Pearl offers all three of these characteristics. This project uses both knit and purl stitches, offset to create a diagonal rib.

Indie Knit News:
Early Morning Rain in Mini Mochi
Mindy Ross' Early Morning Rain shawl is gorgeous! It is designed in Mini Mochi color 305 "Caramel Latte", and it looks divine. The designer describes the pattern as a "'thingie' that "is to be read like your favorite book, with each chapter bringing on its own delightful portion of the 'novel', until the final ending that you create. This lovely textural design grows into something you can throw on at a moment's notice, with jeans and a sweater, or it can embellish your lovely evening attire." This design has been favorited over 1200 times on Ravelry. It takes three to four balls to make.

Indie Crochet News:
Panda Silk Tank in New Book
Designer Crochet: 32 Patterns to Elevate Your Style is officially available! This stunning book by Shannon Mullet-Bowlsby features crochet designs that are wearable, flattering and fun to make. Case in point is the Solid Tank, designed in Crystal Palace Panda Silk. I love to crochet all sorts of projects, from the simple to the elaborate, but I have to say, it feels really good when you find a pattern you love that is also extremely wearable. The Solid Tank is "solid" in many respects. Literally, the fabric is solid, so you can wear this with no extra camisole or some such extra garment. It is also a solid design choice, a sensible piece that is practical and looks great. Panda Silk has an elegant feel and sheen that elevates the simple tank design.
