Merino 5: New Colors
We have added eight fabulous solid shades to the Merino 5 collection: 1015 "Soft Yellow", 1016 "New Gold", 1017 "Chili", 1018 "Canyon Rose", 1019 "Mulberry", 1020 "Vivid Violet", 1021 "Pansy" and 1022 "Classic Blue". Merino 5 is a luxurious basic made from 100% machine-washable merino wool. It is soft and lustrous, and produces excellent stitch definition. Its medium gauge makes it very versatile for both knit and crochet. Merino 5 is great for sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves, and baby items. These new colors, in addition to the existing solid range, are excellent for team sports projects as well. Show your team spirit this Fall with Merino 5.

New Free Knit Patterns:
Gold Rush & Cuddles DK
We have added two new fabulously free patterns  to our website.
Just in time for this week's arrival of Gold Rush, the Fan Stitch Cowl is a quick, fun and easy lace cowl. It features the basic fan stitch design, using bulky needles and two balls of Gold Rush. Add bling to your wardrobe with this soft and sparkly accessory. Look for additional Gold Rush patterns, like the two-ball Gold Rush Slouch Hat, coming soon.
 We also added a new Cuddles DK pattern to the website. The Razzmatazz Rainbow Hat is a baby hat shown in the dynamite 2013 "Circus" color way. It is a basic stockinette-stitch rolled hat, finished off with a three-needle bind off and I-cord knots. It takes less than a ball to make. In fact, two balls should yield three hats. This is a fun and affordable project, and makes a great gift, too.

Cowl on the Diagonal
 Hot off the presses: Ann Norling's Pattern #72: Cowl on the Diagonal offers a beautiful eyelet and spiral rib cowl pattern in many different sizes and gauges. Per usual with Ann Norling patterns, the cowls can be customized to your particular size and yarn. Pattern samples are shown in Merino 5, Cuddles and new Danube Bulky.
