Ladies and Gentlemen On the occasion of Dr. Abdullah Turkmen's present visit to Tunisia, the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID) is organizing a public lecture on Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 11:00 to 12:30 at CSID offices in Montplaisir on Syrian current events and the influences of local and international partner under the title What does the future hold for Syria?  Abdullah Turkmen has a Ph.D. in Contemporary History, and is a researcher in Strategic Affairs and International Relations with the Sharq Research Center in Dubai. He has published seven books and co-written more than twenty with such titles as Strategies on Issues of Development, Democracy and Human Rights in the Arab world, The Arab Space and interactions in contemporary history, The Growing Regional Role for Turkey, and The Arabs and the Dialogue of Cultures in a Changing World. He has also written many newspaper and magazine articles on Middle East Affairs and been invited to speak at numerous international conferences and seminars. This is an invitation open to all interested in attending.
