Avalanche, also known as Avi, is a deaf American Bulldog. Despite her disability she has changed many lives and continues to do so through her business initiatives. You may have seen her around town in her sporty sunglasses. She became so popular via Instagram that she now sells her own brand of glasses! Last month marked a very special event that Paws 4 You Rescue proudly participated in with Eva Danielle. On September 22, Charest-Weinberg Gallery hosted the launch of a group exhibition of photography to benefit Miami-based project, Fashion Tails. Fashion Tails is an initiative started by Eva to educate the public about the plight of homeless animals. The exhibition features the work of 40 world-renowned fashion photographers and is open to the public through October 31 at Charest-Weinberg Gallery (250 NW 23rd Street #408, Miami). When you visit, pay special attention to all the canines. You will recognize them from our Adopt Page or Happy Tails Page of our website!

RECIPE: Peanut Terrifics
Delicious and nutrious for your dog, these Terrifics make fabulous training treats when broken into small pieces.
1/2 cup water 
3 tbsp peanut butter
1-1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1 - Preheat over to 350 degrees
2 - Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly
3 - Spread the dough evenly on a baking sheet
4 - Cut into desired shapes
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Makes: About 24 treats
Note: The Terrifics will keep 2-3 weeks in an airtight container.
