February 2016 News & Updates
Thousands of twinkling lights in trees!
Custom-designed lighting for all 17 Storybook Sculptures!
That's our goal for downtown Abilene, and March 8 is our deadline. That's the night we will flip the switch during our "Illumination Celebration" and what was once dark will be magically lit!
We have food trucks, games, costumed characters, Abilene ISD student performances and more planned for this special evening festival. Filming the celebration will be "Voices in America," a PBS documentary company whose 5-minute segments are hosted by James Earl Jones and broadcast across America to more than 60 million households.
We hope to see your shining faces at this nighttime festival. If you aren't shiny, we'll have glow sticks to fix that!

Artfully Yours,
Lynn Barnett
