Cultural Art Happenings April 2013 

Come meet our newest Abilene residents! On April 11th at 5:30 pm the Abilene Cultural Affairs Council, in conjunction with AEF Cajun Fest, will unveil five Dr. Seuss bronzes in Everman Park. The Storybook Sculpture Unveiling  event will be an evening filled with: art, entertainment, Cajun food, and free ice cream and cookies to the first 400 attendees courtesy of Blue Bell Ice Cream and Fehr Foods. And while you're downtown for ArtWalk make the rounds to the Grace Museum to see the new exhibit West Texas Club Woman 1900-1950 ,  Charlie Hukills exhibit Fenders and Headlights at the CCA and Young Master's Juried Art Exhibition at the NCCIL.

 

Tickets are now on sale for Broadway performance of Elvis Lives on April 16th.  The Children's Performing Art Series performance of Pinkalicious on April 21st is already SOLD OUT!  Order season tickets now for the 2013-2014 Season so you won't miss out again on these wonderfully fun, family friendly performances in the beautify Paramount Theatre.
