Classical Guitarist Jason Vieaux


InConcert Sierra presents celebrated guitarist Jason Vieaux. In March 1998, InConcert Sierra presented guitarist Vieaux after he had been named the youngest first-prize winner in the history of the Guitar Foundation of America International Competition. He returned in March 2000 for a sold-out performance. Now almost fourteen years and many awards and successes later, Vieaux is returning.

Nevada County Gold Magazine Raises Funds for the Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce 


Nevada County Gold Magazine recently presented a check for $5905.69 to the Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce. This amount represents the commission generated on advertising sales in the 2013-14 Nevada County Gold Magazine. Celebrating 28 years of publication, "The Gold" has raised more than $220,000 for the Nevada County Chambers of Commerce.


Nevada County Gold is designated the "Official Guide to Nevada County." The Gold provides valuable information about Nevada County including a yearly calendar of events, maps, dining, recreation, real estate and lodging opportunities that abound in our lovely County. 


With a yearly distribution of 85,000, Nevada County Gold is available at more than 600 locations including Old Sacramento Visitor Center, San Francisco Visitors & Convention Center, throughout the Bay Area, Truckee Visitor Center, Reno, Sierra County, Auburn, Parks and much more. The Gold can also be found throughout Nevada County at hundreds of locations.

Kudos to Our Supporters, Donors and Volunteers
Such a difficult year and yet more reasons to be thankful for than ever. Sure, our
federal funding was sequestered and impacted by the government shutdown, but local
supporters stepped up and made sure our programs like Meals on wheels stayed on
the road.
We are grateful to our media partners like KNCO and The Union who have shared
our story and made the community aware of our needs. We are grateful to the Nevada
County Supervisors who offered emergency funding to ensure our vital services would
not be interrupted. We applaud the Nevada County Women's Republic Federation and
the Soroptimist International of the Sierra Foothills for each adopting a Meals on
Wheels route. The list goes on. . .
