Hospice Volunteers needed in Linn, Benton and Cedar Counties
 
Care Initiatives Hospice is in need of hospice volunteers to spend time with the patients and their families by simply giving their time. Volunteers may read, play games, listen to stories, go for walks with patients or help out by mowing a lawn, baking cookies or picking up medications. Share a love of books at the C.R. Farmers' Market

The Friends of the Cedar Rapids Public Library will be hosting a booth during the Cedar Rapids Farmers' Market to promote literacy, reading, and the public library. 
 
Volunteers are needed to give away prizes to children, sell books, and promote the activities of the library and the Friends. Volunteers will work with members from the Friends/Foundation. For more information and to sign up go here
