Announcing our Contest Winners!
Each Winner Gets a Discount and Free ShoeboxTask
We are very excited to share our top choices, just for different reasons than we expected!
Despite widespread initial interest in our Visuals Contest--and granting the whole class an extension--almost no one turned in their homework. We understand--sometimes it snows and everyone has to miss the school party that day or maybe you couldn't get your principal's permission or thought everyone else's project might be better than yours. Don't fret--due to the high quality of the rest of your work, you all still have an A in our book.  But we did promise to give away prizes and we are determined to do so!  Since we couldn't celebrate many of you educators' creativity this go round (and we had to get creative with only ONE official entry) we decided to celebrate creators of Visuals starring the iconic red button--our original ShoeboxTasks inspiration.

Great Resource: this Website explains the value of Visuals, with free PDF downloads

*Remember: Parents and educators paying out of pocket are welcome to our 10% discount all the time. Contact us before you make your purchase at www.ShopShoeboxTasks.com and we'll give you the coupon code.
Winner: Autism Awareness Visual
Our only official entry came from those bright folks at  Indiana Resource Center for Autism who inspired the whole contest.  It's only fitting they would win and give us another chance to share their awesome Autism Awareness Visual!

Winner: Visual for Students
Laura's website MyCuteGraphics  is full of free clip art for teachers or anyone. We think her red button makes a great Visual accessory to Task17: Red Buttons in Water and it's free to use!
Winner: Creator's Choice
Woodworker and artist at SlippinSouthern has an inspiring story of beginning a second career as a freelance artist. We love this rustic red button sign and those who love Red Buttons in Water would, too! Read the SlippinSouthern story.
Honorable Mention
We also want to share this breathtaking mural, made of red buttons, pins and beads by artist Ran Hwang  as a reminder that inspiration is all around us every day.
